Triangular Files

Triangular Files' Features

Triangular Files are designed for filing internal angles above 60°, corners, grooves, notches, and for filing HSS taps and cutters after machining. They are double cut on all three sides and taper slightly to point. Note: This file has sharp corners and is not recommended for filing saws.

American pattern trianguler file.

American pattern trianguler file also known as a three-square file, is a specialized tool designed for trimming and sharpening edges. Shaped like a triangle with 60-degree angles, it is ideal for filing V slots and working on square and rectangular tasks with angles between 60 and 90 degrees. Excellent for cleaning out corners or for use on cutters, taps and flat surfaces. Three-Square Files are double cut and taper toward the point in width and thickness, and feature the exclusive “Wavy Tooth” design.
